Parman Energy has recently been awarded Houghton International's President's Award, as one of the nation's top five marketers of Houghton products. Houghton International manufactures a variety of metalworking and metal forming fluids, in-process cleaners, as well as specialty hydraulic fluids and lubricants.

New Environmentally Friendly Oil

EcoPower is our new recycled motor oil produced by Safety Kleen. EcoPower motor oil is now available in 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 15W-40 viscosity grades. In addition, all major U.S. car manufacturers have approved the use of Safety-Kleen SAE 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 ILSAC-certified motor oil in all their cars. STLE Certifications in Oil Monitoring Analysis

Nashville based Commercial and Industrial Sales Reps Roy Giorgio and Shawn McKenzie recently obtained their STLE certifications as Oil Monitoring Analysts. They join an elite group of technical experts in our industry who possess both Certified Lubrication Specialist and Oil Monitoring Analyst credentials. In so doing, they enhance our overall capabilities to continue to provide superior technical service to our customers.

What is a Certified Lubrication Specialist? Often called a CLS, this refers to an individual that has passed a rigorous examination that is conducted by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), an international organization of lubrication engineers and professionals. Parman's staff includes eight CLSs out of only a few hundred worldwide. We're very proud to offer this high level of knowledge and experience to you, our customer.

Those who possess the OMA I certification have demonstrated proficiency in the following areas: Lubrication fundamentals, condition based maintenance, contamination control, oil sampling methods, oil testing and analysis, and data management.
